Whether by railway, highway or waterway, Venango is the Shipper’s source for surface transportation answers.  We specialize in design, implementation and supervision of reliable and cost-effective transportation systems for North American Shippers whose needs may be intermittent or short-term.  If you need to move anything anywhere within Canada, Mexico or the United States, Venango offers skilled, hands-on assistance not available from any carrier, third-party provider, or logistics consultant.

Venango’s experienced representatives will personally work with the carriers to design your service routes, schedules and support, negotiate rates, obtain equipment and, when requested, oversee the actual movements.  When support services are needed at origin, destination and/or en route, Venango will arrange for loading and unloading services, transloading, inspection, car cleaning and repair, documentation and/or movement monitoring.  We can also arrange for all equipment required to move your goods.  In certain instances, Venango will provide for audit and payment of freight charges.  The only services we do not provide are ocean carriage and customs export/import documentation, but we can help direct you to qualified brokers who will be eager to assist.  Venango is not a carrier.

It’s easy to get started.  Just download the Freight Rate Request form, fill in what you know or expect about your transportation needs (but don’t guess if you aren’t sure), and email back to us.  If you have any questions, you can contact us directly.  We will review your request, get back to you if we have any questions, and prepare a transportation proposal for your consideration.  Once you accept our proposal, we ask you sign the engagement letter, and the process begins.
